Hall Flowmeter for Metal Powder Flowability Measurement
The Hall Flowmeter is designed and manufactured according to national standards GB 1482-2010/4490-2001. This device is suitable for measuring the flowability of metal powders using the standard funnel method. It can be used with powders that freely flow through a 2.5 mm funnel opening and can also measure bulk density using the 5.0 mm funnel.

Principle

The flowability of metal powder is expressed as the time required for 50g of metal powder to pass through a standard funnel with a specified opening.

Funnel (Aperture Diameter 2.5 mm)

Made of brass material with sufficient wall thickness and hardness to prevent deformation and excessive wear.

Stand, Base, and Receiver

The stand secures the funnel, and the base holds both the stand and receiver. Ensure the setup is stable, level, and free of vibration. Adjust the height of the stand and secure the funnel with the provided wrench. The receiver (stainless steel pan) is placed on the base to collect powder.

Balance (User-provided)

Maximum load of 1000g; accuracy of 0.05g.

Stopwatch

Measures time with precision up to 0.01 seconds

Measuring Cup

The device includes a 25 ml stainless steel measuring cup, which allows users to determine the bulk density of metal powders as per GB 1479-84 (funnel method).
